About Katrina Love Prescott, Writer/Director/Producer:
Katrina Love Prescott is a caregiver advocate, coach, and media producer based in Vancouver. She spent a decade in commercial TV production in New York before returning to Vancouver, where caregiving for her mother pulled her into a new line of work. She co-founded Care Nation Society, a nonprofit supporting caregivers, and Sunny Love Productions, and created Things Not to Say to a Caregiver and Therapeutic Fibbing to give caregivers real tools instead of platitudes. She advises organizations such as UBC, Vancouver Coastal Health, Providence Health Care, York University, and the BC Office of the Seniors Advocate.
In 2023 she won the Caregiver Advocacy Award from the Canadian Centre for Caregiving Excellence. Through Care Nation, she’s building healthcare systems and community that actually work for people with chronic illness and the caregivers holding it together.
